Question
Playstation Joysticks and XBOX Joysticks have Trigger Buttons which translate to Joystick Axis 4 and 5 in InputMap. You can hard press these “analog” buttons all the way down or press the button just a bit and all these will give you different values to work with.
Questions:
-
For other joysticks which do not have the “analog” buttons such as Nintendo Switch Controller’s ZL and ZR, or other PC Gamepads, how do these translate to? Will they refer to Joystick Axis 4 and 5 at maximum value pressed?

I used to have an old Logitech PC Controller and all the buttons are just button 1 to 12. Since there are plenty of joypads for PC out there that may have different mapping positions, the player will have to map these themselves, yes?
