After updating w10 pro to w11 pro, Godot freezes when open a project

Question

After updating w10 pro to w11 pro, when I open a new or existing project, once it is opened, the Godot Interface freezes and the app doesn’t work.

I’ve tried several things that didn’t work:

  • Clear cache

  • Delete the app and download it again (I’ve even tried 4.4 beta and 4.2 stable)

  • Disable Windows Firewall

  • Run Godot as admin

I’ve checked and my drivers are updated.

I would appreciate any advice.

Try running a new project in compatibility mode.

If the project list works its probably a video driver issue.

It was my mistake. I was using the motherboard’s HDMI port instead of the dedicated graphics card’s port, so when Windows 11 tried running Godot with the dedicated graphics card, the app kept crashing. After switching to the correct port, the app is now working properly.

Thank you for your answer. I tried that too and didn’t work. It is already working as I explained on my last post.
