Attaching an area3d door to a 3d tile map?

Manually placing doors onto my doorway tile is tedious, is there a way to add an area3d to the tile on placement? if so, what is the best way of going about this? The door piece is fully Interactable already, if that helps anything?

Iterate through occupied tiles at startup, determine which ones are doors, instantiate areas and place them on corresponding positions.
