Hi everyone, I’m a bare bones basic beginner for godot and I’m trying to figure out this situation I have with some code I’m writing up right about now. I’m trying to make an attack animation and am following a guide to get it to work. I’ve gone to input map to add a ‘attack’ command. After doing this I’ve tried to add in ‘ if input.is_action_just_pressed(“attack”):’ and I’m getting an error for ‘Identifier “input” not declared in the current scope’. I know I’m not stuck, I’m just not sure what I can do from here to add in an “identifier input”. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

If your code is written the same way you have it here, it’s because you wrote it as input and not Input.
The capitalization should be your only error. I hope this helps!

Man, simple things! I just learnt the difference between = and == yesterday lol, thank you again!
