Hi everyone!
I’m an indie developer from Turkey, working on Birebir Futbol: Kariyer — a fast-paced 2D football career game for Android, made with Godot 4 and GDScript.
The project combines quick 1v1 football matches with a career mode. Players can create or choose a club, progress through leagues, compete in cup matches, improve their club, unlock cosmetics, and receive manager offers over multiple seasons.
Current features include:
-
Mobile touch controls with a virtual joystick and directional buttons
-
Fast 1v1 football gameplay with shots, curved shots, and power shots
-
Career mode with leagues, promotion, and relegation
-
Domestic and international cup progression
-
Club upgrades, cosmetics, achievements, and daily rewards
-
Experimental local Wi-Fi 1v1 multiplayer
-
Turkish commentator voice lines and match effects
This is still a work in progress. I’m currently focusing on mobile controls, UI readability across different screen sizes, performance, and improving the overall match feel before the planned Google Play release.
Here is a short gameplay video:
I would really appreciate feedback on:
-
Does the mobile control layout look comfortable and understandable?
-
Is the match UI easy to read, or does it feel too crowded?
-
Which feature would make you most interested in a mobile football career game?
Thanks for checking it out!
