Hi everyone!
I’m preparing Mixamo FBX animations in Blender 4.5 for Godot 4.5 with proper root motion.
I’ve tested the old Mixamo-Root addon (finepointcgi on GitHub) on several Blender versions: 2.8, 3.x series, and 4.5 — it never works for me. Either it fails to install, crashes, or doesn’t add/bake the root motion at all. I also followed multiple tutorials using similar versions, but same issue on my side.
What is currently the most reliable addon or method in 2026 to handle Mixamo animations with root motion for Godot 4.5? (batch import, add/bake root bone, clean up, export to .glb/.fbx)
Any quick tips for export/import settings (Y-up/Z-up, bone naming, etc.) would be awesome too!
