Godot 4.5 has an import option called “bone map”. Its supposed to let you reuse animations. If you bone map a skeleton, it renames the bones and any animation tracks in the same file.
Is this supposed to look good? only way this will look good is if its the same skeleton as the source. I feel like this might be a useful feature if the bone map included rotation offsets. Or something. ts is bad though and will never work. ![]()
And the re-targeting only works if you check “rename bones”. Its just a glorified bone renamer. AND I DON’T WANNA HEAR OTHERWISE I SCOURED THE INTERNET.
