Brand new, problem with invisible 3D meshes/models

Version 4.4.1

So I’ve just installed Godot, no experience with any other engines before, so not 100% sure if I’m doing something wrong or it’s an engine error. My problem is I can’t seem to make any kind of visible 3D model. I tried to exactly copy the steps at around 5:50 in this tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zQRt94rmZGo , and still no luck, I just can’t see the model at all. There’s not even a thumbnail of it in the inspector. I tried importing some models as well, same problem. There are no error messages. I have googled this and it seems like a fairly common problem, but the solution everyone seems to be offering is switching driver.windows to opengl3_angle. I’ve tried that and it hasn’t done anything. Could anything else be causing this?

Thanks.

There’s a problem with the latest AMD GPU windows drivers. Do you by chance have a windows machine with an AMD GPU?

Yeah it’s AMD, should have mentioned sorry. So I guess I just have to wait for an update?

Or roll back to earlier drivers.

I have the same issue, changing the rendering engine to compatibility mode seems to fix it for me.

yes tha worked, thanks a lot
