Can't Edit FBX Imported Files

Question

This is by far the stupidest change from Godot 3 to 4. Why can’t I edit my imported scenes animations, materials or other basic properties.

It worked completely fine in Godot 3, this just seems like an unnecessary complicated mess.


You need to make these resources unique. For the mesh right-click on it and make unique.
For the animations you have to click on manage animations and then on the save symbol and make unique
