Catching unhandled C# exceptions in-game

Godot Version



Is it really the case that there’s no way to catch unhandled exceptions in a Godot application using C#? I need it for in-game logging.

Has anyone found a workaround for this?

This was indeed supported in Godot 3, but it isn’t currently supported in Godot 4 following the switch from Mono to .NET.

I don’t know if .NET is more restrictive than Mono on this aspect.

If I understand it correctly, there is a suggested fix in that discussion, but it has been left as a pending PR.
