Core mechanic for a 2D casual game. Is it interesting enough to continue?

Hello all godot lovers. I developed a mechanic for a casual game. I found it interesting to make a game based on it. It is actually a collecting game.

What do you think and what ideas you have to making it better?
Thanks

Looks nice!

here’s just what came to mind watching the gif:

  • Add a basket that the pine cones need to be returned to.
  • Set a maximum amount of cones that the player character can carry. if they exceed it, they randomly drop pine cones while moving.
  • After a while, squirrels could show up that carry away/steal any pine cones that are on the ground. They scurry away if the player character approaches them.
