Damped oscillator with rotation not working

Question

I am trying to rotate a sprite then use a DampedOscillator.animate to cause it to swing at the press of a button. The only problem is when I press the button it rotates then plays the animation, but if I press it again it does not rotate but just oscillate at its rotation and will not rotate.
