Debugger not Synchronizing with Scene

Godot Engine v4.2.2.stable.mono.official.15073afe3


When I go to play my game to test out any changes I made to the scene the debugging window doesn’t reflect the changes.

For example I have tried moving a light, repositioning the player and adding a collision box. None of these are seen in the debug window after it builds. I see no errors or warnings in the output either.

I have tried restarting the engine multiple times, changing the rendering method and restarting my computer.

Is this a bug or am I just missing something? I haven’t been using Godot very long at all.

Solved. Its a little embarrassing but I had the starting scene set to the wrong one in the project settings.
