Helloooooo!
Ive been using dialouge manager 3, watched the video and such, but when i go to the dialouge tab and press ‘add’, nothing happens. I saw/heard something about a .json file, but is there another way i can do it? If not, how do i make a google doc into a .json?
Did you try raising an issue on the original repo?
When you say the “Add” button, do you mean the “Start a new file” button focused here?
That should bring up the file dialog for you to name the file and select the folder to save to. If it doesn’t do that, maybe try deleting and re-installing the addon.
it doesnt even have the image (i have the third one? Is that the problem?)
I did try but i really cant navigate github :,D
Also im using the third one? Is that the problem? I cant seem to find it nor the first one on github anymore, although that could just be me not knowing how to work it
You don’t need Github to install the addon. Use the AssetLib.

I did install it from the library 
I suggest starting from a new empty project, install the addon and enable it.
Alright i tried that and it didnt work.
I this the one you have? Ill just install it if it is, I think im using a broken one.
No, that’s for Godot 3. Assuming you’re using Godot 4.x you should use Dialogue Manager 3 - Godot Asset Library
Unable to load addon script from path: ‘res://addons/dialogue_manager/plugin.gd’. This might be due to a code error in that script.
Disabling the addon at ‘res://addons/dialogue_manager/plugin.cfg’ to prevent further errors.
Thats what i got when i reinstalled it and reset the project

okay, wait, because i created a new file for it and now it wont let me edit it. It lets me edit it in the dialouge editor, but when i play it, it just plays the first dialouge that preloads for you
There is a discord for Dialogue Manager and you probably could get faster/better help there.
