I have several identical falling platforms put they behave different.
When the area2d of the platform is entered it sets a timer. When this timer calls the timeout signal the physics process func is set to true and the gravity pulls the platforms down, but the 3rd goes faster than the 2nd and the 1st, so the gravity increases.
Make sure they don’t share a falling velocity and each have a unique velocity that pulls them downard.
