Error unencrypting game at run time

Question

I have moved to a new computer and for my game I had created a custom encryption enabled export template. It worked on the previous computer perfectly. On the new computer I added the key to my env vars (or so I think) via PowerShell $env:SCRIPT_AES256_ENCRYPTION_KEY=“your_generated_key”
however when the game is ran it crashes with the following error.

ERROR: The MD5 sum of the decrypted file does not match the expected value. It could be that the file is corrupt, or that the provided decryption key is invalid.

Is there a known way to remedy this? Thanks.
