Excluding Labels from translation in Godot 4.7

Godot Version

v4.7.2.stable.mono.official [ed1daf0bf]

Question

I’m explicitly mentioning engine version in the title because Label had Auto Translate Mode Property under Localization in older versions, but it’s no longer the case. And I have trouble finding it. Search engines yield no results about this topic. The odd thing is that Auto Translate Mode exists for Tooltips, but not for the content of the Label.

I only have Godot 4.7.0, but it’s at the very bottom, in the Node category. By the way, you can find properties via the “Filter Properties” search bar at the top of the Inspector.

Node.auto_translate_mode

I know, but you need to know the name of the property.

Node.auto_translate_mode

Has this been removed from the GUI? Because it does work from code, but in the GUI (right panel) this property only exists for the Tooltip of the Label, not the Text.

Edit

I’ve found it, it’s above Editor Description, it’s just called Mode in Auto Translate dropdown. This is why search wasn’t finding it. The location indeed changed from previous version, old tutorials point it to Localization in Control category. Quite confusing change. But still, could be worse.
