Famerate issues

So I’m creating this 3D game but from the beggining I’m facing 3D issues in my Fps
My fps doesen’t go over 26 and constantly dips , After i stated to work on the map I can’t get fps more that 12
any help is appreciated

I had frame rate issues from:

  • displaying shaders for the first time
  • playing particles for the first time
  • frequently adding nodes to the scene tree
  • large data analysis tasks like running an ai

I suggest you avoid frequently adding nodes to the scene tree (load them all once during a loading screen, for example). Try to preload shaders and particles if possible (force the render during a loading screen, for example), and run large data analysis tasks in other threads.
