Game rendering off center

Godot Version



I’m having an issue where upon rendering my game, it’s off centre. I can’t figure out why this is, and i’ve searched around quite a bit. here is a screenshot:

Does anyone know why this might be happening and how i can fix it? Will provide any screenshots necessary.

From the sceenshot alone, the problem can’t be determined. It would help if you could provide additional information:

  • do you use any CanvasLayer nodes?
  • do you use any Camera2D?
  • how did you set up your scene tree?
  • have you changed any of the Viewport’s transforms?

I’m using a CanvasLayer (UI)
I’m using a Camera2D on my player
I haven’t changed any of the Viewport’s transforms (i don’t think)



Perhaps the Camera2D node has a non-zero position?
