I like to listen to audiobooks via Spotify when I’m running, and I was wondering if there’s any audiobooks you’d recommend? Doesn’t have to be solely focussed on game development, but can be industry related.
For example, I listened to “Sid Meier’s Memoir!: A Life in Computer Games”, “Play Nice: The Rise, Fall, and Future Of Blizzard Entertainment”, as well as some others. Podcasts are also fine, things like “Darknet Diaries” (Cyber sec focused), or “Godot Unscripted”. Unfortunately the latter hasn’t released a new episode for a year. At least not on Spotify.
Curious about any recommendations, thanks in advance 
Good question. Actually, the thought crossed my mind a couple of times to try and arrange a couple of interviews with independent solo developers and artists.
I’ve always wondered things like: what does your day look like? Where do you find the time? What drives you? How did you get into this?
It would be a lot of personal questions, though, so I imagine making an interview series, while respecting everyone’s privacy and even getting someone to open up… would be a lot of work.
Still. The thought did cross my mind a couple of times. Even came up with a title: “The True Indies” (sounded inticing to me anyway).

I think you’re imagining barriers that possibly aren’t even there.
Sure, some people will decline the offer, but I think what Godot Unscripted did well was allow them to plug their stuff at the end. Of course, you’ve always got to be careful that it doesn’t become a full sales pitch, but with your direction, I think that’ll be easily managed or filtered out.
I think it’s a wonderful idea, and from my (short) experience in this space, people are very happy to share and help each other. There might be something there.

Or I guess books I can read on an e-reader would also be welcome 
I’ve been listening to the Butterscotch Shanannigans’ Podcast and the Game Dev Field Guide for a while. The Latter got be a bit bored during running, to be honest.
On a side note: listening to podcasts works very well with something else than Spotify. Podcasts are an open platform and I use AntennaPod on android.

On Spotify, it’s an ease of use above anything else to be honest. Sometimes I want to listen to music, sometimes an audiobook, sometimes a podcast. I like it being in one app, but I might look at AntennaPod at some point. It’s not the first time it’s recommended to me!
