Devlog of “Go to bed bat”

To do list

  1. Impement Git
  2. Rewriting most of the structure.
  3. Add more obstacles/mechanics.
  4. Add score to the levels (like collecting 3 stars for the full score).
  5. More levels (stage3).
  6. Adding sound to the UI.

This is all I want to do over the next few weeks for my game.

Learning git takes more time then expacted…
And because i hate me i use to learn git command line.

Do learn git on the command prompt. Once you got that down, all the visual tools make better sense.

What can I say to that?

Although these are just files on your filesystem, I think it’s good that you have a healthy distrust of them.

But I don’t think that sharing your entire process of learning how to use git is what this forum is meant for: unless you’re ready to make a good tutorial in the topic yourself.

Finaly got git workin after days of trial an error!

personally i prefer the original art style, the one with the cave in the background and not the grid. I think it fits the theme best, and it has a sort of charm to it. IMO

EDIT: I also like the original box better.

A guy on discord said the same.

So the art style will stay as is + some improvements tho the original textures.

And maybe some cavy plants in the backround.

Roadmap

  1. Rework art (ther is more art to rework but i will keep the style)
  2. Rework some levels (on some of them you can just play and you will hit the coffin)
  3. Add Stage 3/ +8 levels
  4. Fix spinner reseting

  5. Publish

The problem her is, most people call it just “the bat game” or something like this, so i think the name may be to long for my andiance​:joy::sweat_smile:.

Edit: Yea “go to bed bat” is a cool name and it describes what you have to do. (Go to bed!)
