Godot editor for more platforms

So as title suggested, where can we currently use Godot ?

This is easy to check, but as we can export to more then that those platforms:

Couldn’t we have available Godot editor for iPadOS, VisionOS, iOS, LGtv, AppleTV ?

As many times quote Godot editor is built with Godot, why not make more platforms accessible for Godot editor?

( Obviously consoles are tricky, but SteamDesk or Steam Machine be cool :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:)

Any thoughts or trick how to compile for any of them which is not available by default in website ?

Well, I suppose it’s not too complicated. Since Godot is an open-source project, all we need to do is find interested developers who are willing to implement and test it. No problem.

There is Xogot for iOS and iPad. I’m not entirely sure why it’s not supported natively though.

This just falls under Linux, I can run Godot on my SteamDeck without any problem. SteamMachine is gonna be the same.

I know Xogot, they mentioned they did touch controls from scratch, but be honest it’s as not smooth as Godot itself.

How does it run on Android?

As good as it gets. I never had any issues, although I used it only a handful of times. Here’s me killing time on my flight to Thailand.

It’s much better experience with an external keyboard, but there’ve been a few improvements to the Android Editor in the 4.7 version, which I’m yet to try out.
