Godot Engine buttons are unclickable unless I switch focus back and forth

Due to the issue I cannot even check the version, but it’s the newest one uploaded on Steam as for 16.11.2025.

Hi, I’ve just downloaded Godot from Steam on my Windows 11. I have this annoying issue that when Godot editor opens additional windows (for example confirmation upon closing project or creation of a new child) the buttons inside this window are unclickable. From what I’ve observed, when I switch the focus to other window and then back to Godot, the buttons are clickable again, but sometimes it requires a few attempts. Thanks in advance!

Have you tried disabling the steam overlay? Can you use single-window mode with command line option --single-window?

Disable the discord overlay. This is currently a bug

If you use discord while having godot open, you have to disable the discord overlay, i think it is because “Go Live / Use Discord overlay” popup hooks into Vulkan and steals UI events causing Godot dropdowns to stop working, text input to lag, and menus to freeze.
