Godot for AI Hackaton reinforcement learning

First of all, thank you for the patience.
In a nutshell: I’m thinking on hosting a hackaton for AI reinforcement learning and Godot seems like a great idea. Specifically, the idea is that students compete with AI reinforcement learning approaches to a set of tasks on a runtime enviornment.

That is, participants shall not have to install Godot, we would give them a .exe that includes the game developed.

Hence, participants should have to connect with APi to the exe file and control it with a python script. It should be able to run faster than real time, maybe turn off graphics for training etc. Of course this would be optimized an deployed on a docker.

Anyhow, I’m not looking for a detailed solution on how to implement this. Essentially only understand if what I am looking for is doable, and what the best approach would be. I would use this info for a statement of work to subcontract a developer to help us make it, we are not Godot experts.

Of course, whatever we end up building, it would be open source.
