Google Console 16KB memory size page requirements: Nov 1 2025 deadline.

Hi everyone,

I am using Godot V 4.4.1

I currently have an issue with the Google console requirements for android that require 16KB memory size page requirements. My NDK is R29, so the issue must lie with the Godot Android bult in template. I don’t want to update to Godot 4.5 (That supposedly has Android built in templates that meet the above requirement) as I fear it will interfere too much with my current project that is just about to be published on the Playstore. Any solutions to bypass this issue and not have to update the Godot version? So that I can fix this issue on Godot 4.4.1? If so, please give exact details as I am new to all this as this is the 1st time I am publishing an app.

On google console I receive the following errors pertaining to the 16KB requirement:

PLEASE URGENTLY ASSIST, I HAVE REALLY BEEN STRUGGLING TO FIND RELIABLE SOLUTIONS TO MY ISSUE. WILL GREATLY APPRECIATE ANY ASSISTANCE.

Libraries that do not support 16 KB: base/lib/arm64-v8a/libc++_shared.so base/lib/arm64-v8a/libgodot_android

I found a commit [Android] Add support for 16 KB page sizes, update to NDK r28b by m4gr3d · Pull Request #106358 · godotengine/godot · GitHub

this should be if 4.5

if you don’t want to upgrade to 4.5 you can cherry pick the change set onto 4.4.1 and build the engine and templates yourself

Hi appreciate it. Will try it out.
