GPU Particles 3dd stop working with attractors normally after collision

Question

Im currently working on a leaf blower project using GPU particles for the leaves. My original plan was to use attractors to push the leaves around. However I have found that after collision the leaves are not affected by the attractor. In this video it can be seen how the leaves that are being pushed up in the air never collided while the leaves that have collided can not be moved by the attractor attached to this moving cube.
