GPUParticles acting as though oneshot is on on windows, acting properly on mac

I have added a GPUParticles2D to a few of my scenes, and I want them to constantly emit. On my mac with m1, the particles constantly emit both in the editor and when the scene is running. However, on windows, the particles only emit once as though oneshot is on. This happens with every GPUParticles2D in my project.
