How do you move a meshinstance with how it is rotated

im trying to move a meshinstance to its left but it goes in one direction no matter its rotation, how do i fix this?

You need to provide more information. How is your node tree set up? What are you trying to move? What code are you using to do so? Show more or we can’t tell what you may have done wrong.

Then all I can tell you is you need to transform your movement vector into local space.

by this you mean i should use transform.position instead of just position or?

I mean that you need to combine your object rotation with your movement vector so it makes sense.

and how would i do that
