How is this approached? 'Top down' platform and linking rotating physics to the character?

Hi all, still learning Godot. Another question regarding linked physics. I’ve been checking out AnimatableBody2D but it seems like it’s for side scroller platforms?

Currently, the road animates via an animation player. Once the car enters, it should spin with the road, on top of it’s natural motion.

I am assuming I’ll have to go back and review math solutions for this. However I’m wondering if there is an inbuilt Godot method for making the above work, or does AnimatableBody2D cover this effect?
