How to Combine Bones for Ragdoll Without Affecting Animations?

Hi! I’m using Godot 4.2.2 I have scene with a Skeleton3D with several bones. I’ve created physical bones to animate the ragdoll, but I want to merge some bones that I don’t need for the ragdoll (e.g., I have 3 bones for the spine that could be merged into one). However, when I delete the unnecessary bones, the joints stop working.

For example, if I have 3 bones for the spine and I want to leave only the middle one, the remaining bone cannot have a joint because the adjacent bones have been deleted. How can I remove the physical bones and still use the joint for the closest remaining bone?
