I am in the planning stages of a game I call, ‘Hunt for Immortal’.
It will be a single player low polygon Action RPG.
I plan on having game mechanics based on a game called ‘Secret of Mana’ by squaresoft.
The game will be released free for everyone.
It will have low polygon models similar to ones found on a Sony Playstation.
I plan on having a unique level up expierence system in it.
I have not done the full game design yet, so I yet to know the scope of it the project. Hopefully I can keep it down to something like 6 months.
The story will begin with the King summoning the player…
I plan on posting screen shots as i make the game, but not revealing the story.

I was able to get the first part of the design document done. Right now I have been busy at work at have gotten nothing done except that first part of the document.
I am expecting to get more free time away from work coming months so I should be able to put some hours on it.
I wanted to say, that this is not the only project I have made with Godot. In the past I have made projects with Unity. Then moved into Godot. With Godot my favorite.
I am certain I can make this video game work. I just need be able to have time for it.
I am going to try and keep the scope down to 6 months, while still keeping the game long enough to be entertaining. If it’s not long enough play time I will extend the time.
I am hoping I can offer entertaining game play plus short stories.

I have partially finished one of the player characters. She will have pickable skin color, pickable hair style, and the cloths can be changed to different colors.
Do you think it looks arid?
Making this character gave me idea for changing the game design. The beginning of the story has changed.

I worked on the male player for the game. He too will have pickable skin color, hair, and cloths color.
I am trying to keep the game generic and simple. This way I can get the project done in reasonable time.
I will be taking short cuts such as using the same body for the NPC’s.
6 months seems like it will not be enough time at the moment.
I am going to try the straight to the point and right into the action method. So no fillers such as grinding, or very long travel distances.

Little progress was made. Today someone is calling in sick, I have to work tonight. I see them do this, and then they are quit/fired.

I was able to get some more done on the project. Have to work soon…
Ahem, I was just thinking about deleting that tree and creating one with the blender plugin.

I have decided to keep the tree I made, because it fits right in with my art style. Some work was done on the design document. I have been working, doing an anatomy study, and having hurricane parties. I have not been able to add onto the project.
The power is back on, but I have to bed early tonight for work. I also want to finish my anatomy study.
I am little bit anxious to work on the project however, because I am near the part where I can create my character controller. I soon will have the main player walking in the first level. After this I can create just one mob, and finish the character controller.

I have only been able to partially make one thing for this project. Right now I am upgrading into a new system, building a table for the new system. Can’t do any work until I move into my new machine.
In my opinion Hunt for the immortal ,is better
Also no offense the characters were a little creepy
sorry about the characters, I am just trying to make something quick.
I have the first part of the game design and an idea of what direction to take the development. I have so many things I am working on, with one of them fixing the house.
