I need help scripting a topdown shooter

4.1.1 Godot Version

I am trying to make a top-down shooter and I’m not sure how to go about it, Ive made a character controller based off of a script I found. since any top-down shooter tutorials Ive found are all really old I don’t know what to do. (Heres my character controller so far)~extends CharacterBody2D
