Importing model via .blend file does not animate mesh

Hello!

I’m currently trying to import a 3D model into Godot using the .blend file directly, however I’ve run into a wall where the animation associated with the armature is imported, however the mesh assigned as the child of said armature is not animating along with the bones.

This is what the model looks like imported into Godot:
