Importing png crashes the Godot

I have tried to import world elevation map to Godot. It shows the loading dialog then freezes and crashes with error dialog Memory could not be read.

I guess the size is the reason why it is crashing. It’s a 71MB, 21,600 x 10,800 png. That is a huge image. There is probably a way to load it in chunks that can be recommended by other people knowledgeable about working with large images. You should look for how to do that.

Thatwas the problem. So I scaled down image now it works fine.
