Introduction - Motion Designer Learning Game Design

Hello all :waving_hand: I saw a few introduction posts and thought I would make one of my own. I’m Dungeon, a Motion Designer and Illustrator by trade. I’ve come from a Javascript background creating scripts and “expressions” for Adobe After Effects and Illustrator, and am now learning how to use Gadot to make some small games for my friend’s christmas presents this year.

I like cosy games, things like decorating games, stat management, and turn based systems. I’m currently working on a system for a small dress up game, based on my friends’ tabletop characters and their outfits.

I look forward to combining my love of illustration, animation, and motion design with this new engine! Feel free to ask if you have any questions

Do you do 3D or 2D animation?

2D. I mostly stick to vector art puppet style, but sometimes branch out into other things.
