Is there any way to make multi world is infinite size?

Godot Version



I want to make a tool to make infinite amount of world is infinite size for modding.
Is godot implemented it?
If not, what should i do?
I think built-in physics mask is not enough.

Try the minecraft approach by dividing the world into chunks

I tried it, but i need make physics works without physics bodies in other world.
And godot engine can’t do this.
Physics layers are used in height.

Maybe have a seperate physics body for each chunk and only enable the one that the player is in and the ones around him?

Also make sure that those bodies are static

No, the environment is some factory and units controlled by programmable unit(or sth else).
With multiplayer, i think it’s impossible in current way.
