Issue with the godot 3d tutorial relating to the player.glb file

Question

i’ve been following the tutorial but i think i did something wrong somewhere. it doesn’t seem to be an issue with the glb file itself, but when i jump the shadow is shown as a square with 2 legs some distance behind, not a circle connected to 2 legs. this doesn’t seem to be an issue with my graphics card either as the completed version is working fine. any clue?

edit: it seems to be an issue with the orthogonal view of the camera, the perspective view is working fine

edit 2: it also works fine when the orthogonal camera is REALLY zoomed in, but on increasing the size it becomes blocky
