Jitter problem with 2d glow effect

Moving around causes glow (enabled in world environment) to jitter like shown in the gif. Does anyone know how to solve this?

To create the glow effect I have:

  1. enabled HDR 2D in project settings
  2. created a world environment node with background mode = canvas, with glow enabled and left the rest of the values as the default.
  3. on a sprite, changed the modulate so in the raw tab the values are set to 2 instead of 1.

I’ve also tried using both using a camera2d that is a childnode on the player as well as having it a separate node that follows the player
