Question
so i used i used Lan server discovery addon and got it to do what i want with 2 debug instances of the game and it detects other games on the network to but when i export it, it doesn’t detect any games.
i won’t post any pictures of the code because it would just confuse you further but basically what i have done to the addon is connect the button that has all the server data to the world script that joins the player to the server and the host button connects to the world’s script and the addons script.
this works when i’m running multiple instances in the godot engine but when i export it, even if i run two windows on my computer or on seperate computers, it doesn’t detect any servers. help would be deeply appreciated
