I’m trying to learn more about objects and textures. Does anyone know where (be prepared this is a lot), know where you can make assets, know any videos that explain how to make assets in a non-complicated way, and how to put those assets in godot. Thank you!
This sounds like I am being cheeky but I’m not. Have you tried searching for “Making assets for godot tutorial”, there are tons of things. 3D, 2D, Blender, Textures, Models, Animations, Tilemaps, etc. Literally pages and pages of resources. Search on YouTube and you get loads of great videos too. This is a massive area and if you want more specific help you will have to be more specific. There are also tons of results for something more specific like “godot uv wrapping meshes”. Sorry not to have been much help really.
When you say “objects and textures”, do you mean 3D models?
What kind of assets? If you’re making a 3D game, try looking up video tutorials on low-poly modeling. I might also make something like that myself later this year.
You were ton’s of help thanks! I just needed to know where to go to learn these sorts of things. Just kind of the necessities of a basic 3d game before I move on to more complex stuff.
Kind of. Both 3d models and stuff like terrain and walls, basic stuff like that. But also giving those things depth like texture and stuff like that
Thank you
To be more specific I’m making a first-person horror game. It takes place in an isolated hedge maze with a killer scarecrow. I wanted to figure out how to make the scarecrow and maze and make the game look like it wasn’t made by a beginner
