Currently back on 4.5, but ran an upgrade test on 4.6
Question
We’ve recently tried upgrading to 4.6 for all the new UI/UX updates, but noticed our in-game lighting changed completely so we’ve had to roll back to 4.5.
Below is a pictured comparison (left = 4.5, right = 4.6)
Everything we’re using for lighting is native to the engine. What seems to happen is all the values get turned down, much less saturated, lower bloom, weaker GI.
We tried to change the values, tried some factoring formulas to get the numbers to an approximate equivalent and we just couldn’t manage.
finally, the question:
How do we preserve our lighting setup when upgrading from 4.5 to 4.6?
