Question

Making this survival game and have a few things about light and processing I’m trying to figure out .

1.) How to make Cabin internals darker then outside ( I have tried VoxelGI but results were quite strange as it wasn’t too darker make exact box which affect’s only inside was a bit of challenge itself ), tried also Shadows from DirectionalLight but this produce some neon flicker like effect which is not desired .
2.)When enabling shadows in DirectionalLight3D with Shadows ON - I get like flicker effects in shadows .
3.) Would be possible to make Directional Light not affecting cabin at all ?

Demonstration of this "neon flicker ? when shadows enabled " - most noticeable outside in shadow under building .

Ok here is Update I were a digging a bit and find out you can use Cull Mask in DirectionalLight node to exclude meshes from affecting it by itself.

Applied it here -

will need for future divide meshes into interior and exterior to take this into account .

If there is another approaches please let me know .
