Lights Making dark spots when there are too many of them

Question

I am currently trying to make a trail using light, and the fact that it is light is NEEDED, so lets work off of that. When I put too many light over each other, they start making dark spots, and even completely blocking off visuals in the game, here is an example.


Why is it doing this, and how the hell do I stop it. Also I have indeed messed around with the Add, Mix and subtract but none of them seem to fix it, I have tried checking if the corners of the png provided for the light weren’t lit, not the problem as u can see here.

If I could somehow use masking for this, that would be great but there have been no news about masking for like 2 years in Godot after it was removed from the point light back then, and so I have no idea what to do. I desperately need your help dear professionals, and I hope someone has an answer. Thank you.
