Hi, I have some experience in Godot but I’m still a newbie.
I would like to refresh my Godot knowledge and expand on it by joining a game jam. However, I am scared of joining alone because not knowing a lot of things might force me into using LLMs which I don’t want to do. I am free from the beginning of November so if anyone is interested in learning together, having some fun and learning please let me know.
P.S. Aside from GDscript, I also have some knowledge in C and x86 intel noprefix assembly (although those were covered in a university setting so I didn’t get much practical application).
I am a newbie in Godot myself (even though I have software-related development experience)
I am interested in learning Godot and joining a Game Jam, too, but same as you, I am not really sure if I can make anything worth submitting alone.
If you want to work together in any of the upcoming Jams, let me know and we can at least give it a try.
I’ve done the godot wild jam a few times now. It starts the 2nd Friday of every month. It (and I’d assume most itch jams) prefers web exports. They’re a great way to learn. The about I’d feedback you get and to vary. I usually have to scramble to finish due to lack of spare time If you have any questions/someone to help you with a couple of things feel free to IM me.
