Material tester demo is crashing the engine

Question

Greetings, I am new to Godot and now I am checking the docs and every demo file.

As the title reads: Material_tester demo file crashes Godot every time I try to run the demo. Could you verify if this demo file opens and runs fine in your own setup?

Did you imported this demo project onto Godot 4.4?

or are there version 4.4 for this demo?

if you try to use Godot 3.5 version project onto Godot 4.0, don’t expect it to run smoothly without issues

Yes, I imported this demo into Godot 4.4 and it does not run.

I will keep searching for a solution.

This new file opens fine but does not run.

Did you open and run this new file in your own setup?
I am using a Mac M1 running OSX 15.3.2 and this file
opens but does not run.

I actually have this project cloned directly from Github and just opened and ran it on Godot 4.3 on Windows 11 with a 4090 and it runs just fine here.
