Monitor ram usage

4.1.1 stable mono


I was wondering how memory profiling works.
If I look at debugger → memory → static it says like 58.88 Mib while my task manager says 228MB.
I don’t know these measurement units in detail, I just know they are pretty comparable, therefore I assume the static memory profiler does not measure the RAM used by the application.

Am I wrong?
Is there another way to analyze memory usage?

You might need to read the source of Godot to get the real picture. Not easy for sure.
