Question
as you can see in the pics, the closer i get to the edge my shadow slowly start to pixelate and face out, where at the edge its not there.
here are some things i have found out
1 : it only happens when my directional light 3ds angular distance is turned up, i cant just turn it of since that would make the shadoes very hard and edgy.
2 : it does not matter what the mesh of my player or floor is
3 : its the same no matter what my cameras perspective is, what i mean by that is in the pics you can see that its a isometic view, but even when its normal the effect still happens
4 : since i have messed around with pretty much every setting related to light, i have tried to make a whole new snene with just a basic character 3d and floor and a directional light 3d with shadoes turned on and a bit of angular distance, it still happens
its my first time posting here after trying to get help on alot of other places, pls just ask of there is more info or pics you think could help ![]()
