I sorta made a tutorial for the chase mode if you interact with one of the signposts and I also made save files. I also made the lookahead a bit more noticable
I also made the dive boost a bit faster
And I added special stages, I have most of the stuff on my todo list done ![]()

I know Iāve mentioned it, but the game really is very loud. Itās easily fixed.
I think raising the camera a bit would improve the view, and some slopes become invisible (camera intersection I think), which that might also fix.

I think you should do as many updates as you like, but personally Iād like to see the basic game polished more, before more is added. A Iāve mentioned, the camera angle makes the game hard to play, and thereās a lot that could be done to improve that - changing to a wide-screen format, moving the camera further away, dynamic zoom out / pan when the player is moving faster (to show whatās ahead), raising the camera angle to avoid clipping⦠if I was producing this game, Iād say thatās currently the best way to make the game more fun ![]()
There are plenty of other minor issues to deal with too - like an indication that the signs can be interacted with (like a hotkey icon instead of Godot Bot above them), the āgood jobā banner only seems to be interactable once, lives donāt seem to have an effect, being able to return to level select / chase mode, and having some visual indication that the (tab) menu exists (why not bind this to escape?).
The good job is the goalpost, it just brings you back to the same level because I did not start on the second level. and how do you add a hotkey icon.
Swap your
image for a return key icon. You could also check the actual key bindings, and update a label accordingly.
