Ninerect Getting Squished

Question

I’m trying to create a Ninerect, but the sides keep getting squished. I have no idea why. no matter how much I change the patch margin or go into the edit region itself to do it, it keeps squishing

I’ve used a 8x8 texture such as yours and it works fine using these parameters:

nine patch

Don’t mind the black background, it’s just my texture.
