No Mouse Input and Buttons are not emitting signals while scene execution, Why?

Hi there, I added a button as the parent node of the scene and attached its signal i.e. pressed, hover, button up, button down. But while scene execution the mouse was working well but no signal was emitted. I don’t know whether this is due to no mouse input or signal not emitted. But the condition tells that there is no mouse input because I added line edit and it also didn’t worked and then I exported the game to mobile and faced the same issue. Please help me as soon as possible.

The first thing I would check is if the logic for emitting the signal is reached (either via adding a print statement or a breakpoint).

  • If the signal emission logic is not reached: then you have a logic issue with signaling at the correct time
  • If the the signal emission logic is reached: then you likely have an issue with properly connecting signal handling functions to your signal
